Canterbury of New Zealand has now been supplying Northumbria University with sportswear for the past 2 years and one of the main pieces of feedback that we regularly receive is with regard to the fit of the ladies hockey and racquet sport tops.
For the coming academic year, Canterbury are proposing to replace the current top with a women’s hockey and racquet top that is the same as the current men’s racquet top (Elite Tee) but in a womens cut. The proposed new top is made from a dry fit pique material and we have samples in store if you would like to come in and see.
If you are an existing member of either the Women’s Hockey or Racquet sports teams at Northumbria, we would like to seek your views.
As you would be required to purchase a new top to the one you already have we are proposing the following.
1. That the top would be made available to you at a discounted rate of £18.50 (normal RRP £23).
2. That Canterbury would also in acknowledgement of the additional cost provide a CCC Leisure Tee free of charge that usually retails at £15
Please below for visuals of the new tops and would value your feedback which we will use in our discussions with the university in order to identify the best way forward which has greatest student support. Unfortunately we can only have one policy and cannot have a mix of the two therefore the choice is either to continue with the current top of accept the change as outlined above.
